Language
To express our thoughts and feeling, we use a language. Language is the human capacity for acquiring and using complex systems of communication and a language is any specific example of such a system.
The language of India belongs to several languages. The official language of India is standard Hindi, which is written in Devnagri script. So, Hindi is the main language of India. Except of Hindi there are many other languages are spoken in India, for example, Angika, Asamese, Bengali, Bodo, Dogri, Garhwali Kashmiri, Konkani, Kakborak, Maithali, Malyalam, Marathi, Mizo, Nepali, Punjabi, Rajasthani, Santhali, Sindhi, Tamil, Telugu, Urdu, Gujarati, Kashmiri, Kannada, Odiya etc.
Kinds of Language
There are three kinds of language :
1. Oral language.
2. Written language.
3. Code language.
1. Oral Language : When we express our thoughts and feelings by speaking is called the oral language. Human being are mostly used of oral language. Oral language can be used by literate and illiterate both persons. Thus, all people, use this language.
2. Written Language : When we express our thoughts and feelings by writing, this language is called written language. This language can be used by literate person. To keep safe any act and documents for many years, only written language is used.
3. Code Language : When we express our thoughts by signs and symbols, this type of language is called Code language, for example : Blind and deaf people are used this language to express their thoughts by the medium of symbols and signs.
